International Champions Cup 2016 Venues, Stadiums | Hosting Cities

The hosting cities of International Champions Cup 2016 have been revealed by the association. This time, the pre season friendly tournament will be played in 16 cities of seven countries. Australia, China, United States, Sweden, Scotland, Ireland and England. There will be edition of International Champions Cup 2016 which are Australia edition, China edition and United States & Europe edition. 16 cities have been selected by seven countries where the friendly games will be played. Starting from Australia, Melbourne Cricket ground will host the match between Melbourne Victory vs Juventus. The stadium can accommodate maximum of 100,024 spectators. Basically it is a multipurpose stadium, but this time it will be used as football ground to this International friendly match.

China have picked up three stadiums. National stadium of Beijing is also one of those three ground. It was built to host the Olympics. Secondly, a match will be played at Longgang stadium having seating capacity of 60,334.
